Five free kicks. One shot each.
Everyone gets the same five kicks every day. They refresh at midnight Sydney time. Score up to 100 points a kick, 500 in all.

Each kick has four steps
- Line it up. Drag the crosshair on the goal (or use the arrow keys). The white flight line shows where the ball will go. If it turns red, the wall will block it, so aim higher, wider or plan to bend it.
- Set your power. Press Kick. A knob swings along the power bar until you tap. The green sweet spot (75 to 85 percent) sends the ball to your crosshair. Softer drops it low, harder sends it high.
- Strike it. A second knob swings left to right. Tap in the green for a clean strike. Tap early or late to bend the ball left or right. That is how you curl a free kick around a wall.
- Watch it fly. Then replay it, or go on to the next kick.
What gets in your way
- Wind. It pushes the ball while it is in the air. The arrow shows where it blows, and the hot air balloon in the sky drifts the same way.
- The wall. From kick 2, three or four players stand 9.15 metres out and block anything low.
- The keeper. From kick 3, the keeper paces his line. Time your kick so he is on the wrong side.
Scoring
You only score if it is a goal. Land within 8 centimetres of the orange bullseye for 100. After that you lose 50 points per metre (about 75 at half a metre, 50 at a metre), with a minimum of 10 for any goal. The wind is strong on the later kicks, so allow for it. Saves, blocks, the woodwork, over, wide and short score 0.
| Square | Points |

| Green | 80 or more |

Three games, three pages
Daily Kick has three separate games: soccer, AFL and NRL. Each has its own page, its own look, its own kicks, streak and leaderboard. Pick the one you love, or use Try our other games inside any game to hop across.
- Soccer. Free kicks over a wall and past a keeper. Bend them with the strike meter. Up to 100 a kick.
- AFL. Set shots. A goal is six, a behind is one, and your result reads like a scoreboard, like 4.1 (25). You kick from out wide: beat the crosswind and the man on the mark, and later a defender on the goal line. Land close to the orange bar for the most points; it moves every kick.
- NRL. Penalty goals, then conversions. Over the bar and between the uprights is two points, and the closer you land to the orange bar (it moves every kick) the more you score. You kick from out wide into a crosswind, and on conversions the defensive line charges the moment you start your kick.
Make it yours
